A visit to Old Town San Diego State Historic Park provides a brief view of San Diego life in the Mexican and early American periods. Today, park staff, volunteers and Boosters of Old Town work hard to interpret the cultures that provided a foundation for present day San Diego. As state park budgets become more restricted, it is important to continue to assist the park in providing funding for interpretive programs. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.
BOOT funds are distributed interpretive programs
Board of Directors in response to proposals submitted by State Park Staff or
by volunteers working on projects under staff direction.
BOOT is a non-profit educational association dedicated to the interpretation of history at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park in cooperation with the California State Park System. All contributions are tax deductible and remain in Old Town.
